This includes stories, collections of quotations, and books. This version 7.3, freshly updated and illustrated for May 2009 (copyrighted) document is provided as an Adobe Acrobat file, and is distributed as shareware, although with an admittedly unusual fee structure. There is a small but unusual charge for the book (just as with any other), or you can down load a few sample chapters to see if you like it. The new revision is NOW OUT!If you are interested in religion, we have the text of "The Book of Tiles" , which can be read on-line, or downloaded in many forms. There is no restriction on copying or mirroring this material.You can also get this month's science fiction story off our story server. There is usually a choice of two or three copyrighted stories available at any one time, or you can down load the entire text of "The Rubber Glove Theory of the Universe, and Other Diversions" , which has a small, but again, unusual charge.

Welcome to our on-line Photo-Jounal:
It's hard to remember all the thoughts that come into your head, or the sights you see every day that mysteriously affect you. I have been writing for so long, I am just used to noting them down, and going back to look them over as time passes. With the advent of digital photography, now I can capture the images too. My son is an exceptionally good photographer, and while looking at his collection of digital pictures one day, I thought it would be a good combination to merge the text and pictures together that we had into a combined journal. And after many long nights of coding and many months of photography, that's just what happened. He even tracked down a lovely young lady with green eyes to sit for some of the pics that required a woman's face. Now there's a good story to tell some day.
After a few weeks of on line touring, to be sure there are no navigational bugs left (I have already exterminated dozens), I will convert it to a downloadable and zipped HTML archive, so you can run it locally if you want. I wish we could have added music to it, but the music police very firmly say no. As with our usual shareware licensing, do something nice for somebody you don't know, and we will consider it even. They let you explore something interesting without making you wade through 350 questionable pages in order to do it. Not so unexpectedly, their most irritating feature is that they usually end just as you are starting to feel right at home there. Well, I can’t help that part. To quote that justly famous modern philosopher, Bob Sibson, "It is what it is". Short stories are, well, short.These stories are a series of small commando forays into the global bureaucracy of the future, a private look inside the mind of an ancient king, a quick but hopefully cogent explanation of how the universe really works, and a field exercise in practical magic. You will get a chance to poke around in the future courtesy of a convenient motel room, die in several very unpleasant ways, and probably feel your heart break. You will visit life after death here, encounter voodoo criminals and maybe fall in love with a machine. These are the smiling reflected faces in shop windows that you have always wanted to know a little more about, and some of the dreams that you had trouble remembering after you woke up. These stories are not exactly science fiction, and not exactly fantasy. They are just how the ideas came out once I started to think about them. The mechanics aren’t very important, because as you should surely know by now, the message has little to do with the medium. The only tiny problem is that you will be unable to forget some of these, and for that I honestly apologize in advance. If you open all these pages, you will leave them a slightly different person, which may or may not be a good thing, from your own personal point of view. Some ideas just have a life of their own, and down the road, you will no more be able to forget them than I was able to ignore them.
