SHIPPING: Canadian ExpressPost (NOT regular mail, this is like US Global Priority/Courier) Rates: To USA destinations, shipping and packing minimum of $23 for any insured, trackable air shipment up to 1kg (typical delivery within 5 business days), Canadian destinations are typically $10-14 (delivery within 2-3 business days). It is also possible to ship uninsured, untracked, small packets (250g max.) for roughly $12-14 to the USA, but delivery delays can be up to 8 weeks according to the US Postal Service, and so we cannot recommend it. Virtually all of our shipment failures have been because of this method, so it should be used with caution. We have an extraordinarily good success rate (better than 99.9%) with ExpressPost, so we highly recommend it, especially for one-of-a-kind items. It is cheaper than couriers, trackable, more reliable, fully insured and goes almost everywhere.

Shipping/handling to Europe, Australia, South America and other overseas areas via Canada Post International ExpressPost air mail insured service or Canada Post International Air Service where ExpressPost is not offered is $51.00 for parcels up to 500 grams/1 pound. Shipping and packing via regular mail to these locales is $22.00 for parcels weighing up to 500 grams/1 pound. This service offers no guarantee, insurance or tracking and we then accept no liability for loss or damage. Transit times are unpredictable by this method.

E-Mail Susan if you want a quote for shipping to other destinations, or for something heavy. Sorry, we can't safely send individual small parts in a regular letter envelope, they get destroyed by the automated handling equipment.

We can also ship FedEx or UPS when time or weight is critical, and over-night FedEx P1 shipping is available. Note that our pick-up cut-off time is noon for FedEx. There is a packing charge for large equipment, see the FAQ for details. To bid on any item here, just click on the email link at the item, and we will record your bid that evening. Bid whatever you like, as long as it's at or above the opening bid, we post whatever you send us. Because this is done manually, we have no way to proxy bid, so keep that in mind. We post your bid amount as received.

The highest bid at of 9pm PST, the closing time of the auction, wins. If the high bidder defaults, we pass to the next highest bidder, and he/she never gets to bid here again. Tough darts.

Complete Fowler Universal Calculator Slide Rule Set
Includes the 3 1/4 inch Fowler circular (with watch stem-style scale/index control), factory manual, and padded leather case. This rule has nine scales, and many gauge marks, and sets the rotating scale body and movable index by use of two watch stem knobs at the case top.

A fascinating and unusual design, from William H. Fowler in the UK, a pre-WW2 rule, which continued into the 50's. The metal body and glass front seal the rule from most dirt and handling, and the rear bakelite back side can be removed for cleaning and disassembly. The rule serial number is 1262. Another great rule donated by Ray Hems for the food bank auction!

14"/10" Novo-Duplex Log Log Slide Rule
One of the nicest plastic body rules ever made, with anodized adjustable aluminum end braces, duplex 5/4-line cursor, two color (red/black) scale markings, and trademark mint green stripe on primary scales (both sides), plus additional blue stripes on the A and B scales, and massive 2 1/4" wide body. This rule also has expanded W square root scales, for both the square root of x and 10x, 8 log log scales, and raised rubber bumpers to prevent cursor scraping, and to give the rule grip on a desktop. The rule also has finger-grip areas on the slide for better movement. Body is fully alignable at the aluminum end-pieces. The cursor pops off (note the recess on the side bars) for easy cleaning, while retaining its alignment, a very handy feature!

The 2/83N rule is self documenting on right hand side for all scales. Has pythagorean scale (P), expanded square scales, folded scales and scale over-ranges. You can download the ENGLISH manual HERE and HERE in 2 Zip files, courtesy of Greg at Ozmanor.

Aristo TRILOG Overhead Projector fully movable class demonstration slide rule
A MINT condition factory boxed set with even the tissue wrapping paper and inspection slip still perfect. This has two color (red/black) scale markings, and trademark yellow stripe on primary scales (both sides). This rule also has the P (Pythagorean) scale, unusual BI scale, 3 log log scales, extended trig scales, and folded scales (at pi, but also extended to 3), a very nice design. The body is stationary on the overhead projector, and both the center scales and cursor slide independently.

Rule is self documenting on right hand side for all scales. Only a general operating manual (with the projector) is included, but you can download similar Aristo slide rule manuals in ENGLISH courtesy of Greg at Ozmanor. Another great rule donated by Ray Hems for the food bank auction!
