NIB (New In Box) and Mint Pickett Slide Rules

To make your life easier, and help you find exactly what you want, we have broken the on-line slide rule catalogs into smaller sections. Just CLICK on the icon of the rule type you are looking for at the left, to see the matching catalog. Large graphical catalogs are a bit SLOW, please give them time to load.

You can order anything here just by picking up the phone, and calling (250) 769-1834 during normal office hours, 8am to 5pm, PST. We process VISA/MC orders immediately. Canada ExpressPost Rates, shipping and packing minimum of $23 (USA) and $10-14 (Canada) for any insured, trackable air shipment up to 1kg.

New In the Box (NIB) or Mint In the Box (MIB) rules are the hardest to find. These are rules that look as they did when the factory shipped them, in the original packaging. Due to long storage (sometimes 30 years), we may get a bit of paper 'foxing' or box scuffs, but we provide pictures for you to judge the exact condition for yourself. Every year, the number of rules available in this condition decreases, and costs increase, so take advantage of them when they appear.

Eye-saver Yellow (ES) coated aluminum construction, all black scales, dual log scale design in one of Pickett's most powerful rules. This is a very sophisticated 34 scale rule, made in the trademark aluminum body format by Pickett, an extremely powerful but somewhat crowded rule. Unlike final versions with red/black scales, this is black only, and has no Ln scale, so it has one less than the final style, an uncommon variation of the N4. Has hyperbolic scales, expanded trig, square and cube root scales, DI and two types of folded scales. This set has a new SRC case supplied, the exact set is pictured pictured. This has the split square root scales, S, T and ST, L and Ln, plus DI scale for more calculating power and precision. A very nice rule for general use.
