 A GREAT FIND!6"/5" Duplex Log Log Pocket Slide Rule
New, but NO BOX and with Manual Reprint with very dark green embossed leather case, and English manual reprint. These have been in storage for along time, and the manuals (spanish) and boxes were deteriorated, you can have them if you request them, and we still have any left. We carefully cleaned and lubed these, now they are ready to go. This is the pocket companion to the full sized 2/83N sets. Price is by email quote only, we won't post it here becuase it only drives up the prices world-wide. A wonderful and highly advanced plastic body rule, very late production. With duplex many-line cursor, two color (red/black) scale markings, beige braces and pale green stripes on primary scales (both sides), and pale blue stripes on A/B scales (one side). The Rule is self documenting on the right hand side for all scales. A very powerful and beautifully made log log pocket rule, equal to the K+E 4181-1 and Post versalog 1461, if not significantly better. Has pythagorean scale (P), CI, folded scales and dual square root (W1) and square root 10x (W2), and 8 log log scales! Plus, very unusual design of combined D/LL0 gives two scales in one. Mint, very late rules, a more compact and lightweight version of the beautiful 2/83N, very attractive, with gripper extensions on the slide. SKALA Plastic body rule with engraved and filled red and black scales, model SLKM. Very interesting Polish design, has a powerful trig scale assortment with self-documenting labels rather than letters, P scale (sqrt(1-X2)) and Rietz over-range extensions on primary scales. Comes with an embossed leather case and single page instructions in Polish. Back is blank. A very nice pocket rule set. Similar to FC 1/54 with added L scale, and no LL scales. We will include English basic scale instructions from Pickett for those who don't have fluent Polish skills. Body parts have engraved serial numbers like K+E, presumably for assembly matching.

Miniature format pocket bamboo rule with leather case and full factory manual. In an original Ricoh box, rules are still in factory plastic bags. Very similar to the popular POST 1441 pocket rule, has metal framed glass cursor, reversible slide with 3 additional scales, rear cursor window, 2 edge rulers and reference data.
Some box wear, with tape on ends and penned in model number. An outstanding and practical pocket rule, ideal as a gift. These were locked up (12 years!) for a surprise in our save-til-later-room, no more available when these are gone.

Bamboo, Log Log Duplex rule, metal framed glass cursor. This is Hemmi and POST's famous Versalog II pocket duplex rule, the companion to the full sized 1460. This has blue and red scale markings with the mid-production GREEN COS scale added A scale, and adjustable metal end braces. The NEW set includes the embossed leather clip case and rule, box and softcover manual.
A powerful but lightweight pocket duplex rule, this has 8 Log Log scales, split high resolution square root scales (R1/R2) plus A scale, folded and trig scales. A very attractive and hard to find rule, this style is always in high demand (because of the performance, light weight and clip case), but hard to locate in good condition and an unmarked case.
Made by Hemmi in Japan, this is a late-production set with Teledyne sticker on a Post marked box and rule.

5" Pocket Rietz Slide Rule
one of Nestler's nicest basic pocket rule, BRAND NEW late production rules, still cello wrapped, with factory English manual, and embossed leather case. Has green tinted slide and white body, 3 trig scales (S, T, ST) and extended basic scales, with a 3 line cursor and 5 inch edge ruler. Self-documenting on right hand side with red marked inverse CI scale. The pics seem to show the left side faded, but that's a lighting artifact, the rules are perfect, and evenly marked.
A great value starting pocket rule, with a great appearance thanks to the colored slide, and rare to find in MINT new boxed sets.

Ivorite, Log Log Duplex Decitrig (also known later as the 'Jet-Log', or in this pocket size, the 'Jet-Log Jr.') rule, with metal framed unbreakable cursor. White "Ivorite" construction, with engraved black and red scales that include directional tilt for inverse scales. Includes original K&E gold embossed orange leather clip case in excellent condition. A real powerhouse duplex rule from K+E in a convenient pocket format. The set includes a clip case and rule. The rule offered IS NOT the exact one pictured, both items in excellent condition.
This rule works the same as the earlier and justly famous full sized 4081-3 and 4181-3 rules, but in pocket size. A very nice find, and an outstanding pocket rule, certainly the most desirable and requested K+E pocket model, and my personal preference for pocket rules from K+E.

VERY LATE MODEL, made in Czechoslovakia. Powerful, brand new pocket rule with red and black scales, 6 log log scales, pythagorean and folded scales, and 4 line cursor. Unusually marked, this rule contains ONLY scale equivalents, no arbitrary letters. Has a soft black leatherette case with Logarex embossed on one side. A very powerful and well-designed rule, equal to the K+E 4181-1 and Post Versalog 1461, if not better, but uncommon in North America. The 4 page Hellerman (UK Logarex distributor) basic instructions are included.

A wonderful and highly advanced plastic body rule, a mid-life style, with rugged, fully adjustable gold-anodized aluminum end braces. With duplex 6/4-line cursor, two color (red/black) scale markings, green end braces and pale green stripes on primary scales (both sides). These sets have very unusual maroon cases, (the style FC usually supplied to Dietzgen!) and in fact you can faintly see the Dietzgen logo underneath the FC embossing. Looks liek these were end of production run rule sets.

Most of these 63 series rules we have seen have red stripes and red braces, this batch has more traditional FC (green) colors.
Rule is self documenting on right hand side for all scales. A very powerful and beautifully made log log pocket rule, equal to the K+E 4181-1 and Post Versalog 1461, if not better. Has pythagorean scale (P), CI, folded scales and dual square root (W1) and square root 10x (W2).
Mint, very late rules, in the last production variation of the 62/83 style, a more compact and lightweight version, very attractive, with gripper extensions on the slide. Took us a long time to get more, so don't miss them!

K+E's famous Deci-lon 5 duplex rule, in the hard to find pocket format with an orange sewn leather clip case. The rule is in good+ condition, the case and one bracket have some wear marks as shown. This is K+E's late production flagship pocket rule, with unbreakable cursor, Ivorite body and adjustable frame. Has 8 log log scale, a split square root scale, DI and folded scales. An outstanding and powerful rule, cleverly designed. Here's a chance to get a powerful pocket rule set. No names, initials or other detracting marks, but some minor rule bracket scufs and case wear. The rule has been cleaned and aligned, everything is ready to use. Rule pictured IS NOT the exact one offered, but is as good or better than shown.

Excelent condition NEW rules, complete with green leather slip case, and green and brass stylus (fits in a loop inside the case), and origianl German manual and supplement. An excellent plastic body pocket rule with 5-line cursor, two color (red/black) scale markings, over-range extensions to the basic scales, P (pythagorean) scale, and cm edge ruler, with a full Addiator (6 digit mechanical adding and subtracting machine) on the reverse side! The slide reverse has 3 log log scales.

BRAND NEW, NIB, complete in the orange factory box with maroon leather case (embossed with Dietzgen logo), and English self-instruction manual. A very nice mannheim plastic body pocket rule with engraved and filled black and red scales. 5" Pocket Multimath Duplex Slide Rule
Nestler's most complex pocket rule, BRAND NEW late production rules, with companion data ruler, and leather case. Has 8 Log Log scales, P (Pythagorean scale) and double length R1/R2 scales for roots/squares, with a 6 line cursor. Also expanded trig scales, and over-range extensions of basic scales.
An excellent pocket rule, the equal or better of K+E's Deci-lon, in a more compact format, with multi-line cursor. Exceptionally easy to read, even for old guys like me. All scales are self documenting on the right hand side. These are the first sets I have seen for over a year, and when they are gone, that's it.

6"/5" Aristo Studio Pocket Slide Rules
New, unboxed, high end log log format rule, with new Sphere made cushion casem and original inspection certificate. Has a slightly magnifying 6 line cursor, CF/C and B/C scale yellow color stripes. Self-documenting, two-color scales, including folded, log log, P (pythagorean) and decimal trig scales.
Despite the high scale density, and small size, the scales are very readable and finely divided. This is one of Aristo's most advanced pocket rules, and is beautifully designed and built. A wonderful compact log log plastic body pocket rule, very seldom seen in North America, and extremely powerful. Susan designed the lovely velcro-flap case, made in a brown suede-like outer finish, and soft fluffy interior, excellent protection for these rules! We got these bulk packed, with no cases from Germany, so it took a while to come up with a good solution.

6"/5"Pocket Slide Rule
Bamboo, Log Log Duplex rule, metal framed glass cursor. This is Hemmi and POST's famous Versalog pocket duplex rule, the companion to the full sized 1460. This has blue and red scale markings with the early blue COS scale and adjustable metal end braces. The set includes the embossed leather clip case and rule, hard cover manuals are also available. Very Good condition, but note that the case is lighter in color than the photo shows, I couldn't get the color balance quite right and show the scale details.
A powerful but lightweight pocket duplex rule, this has 8 Log Log scales, split high resolution square root scales (R1/R2), folded and trig scales. A very attractive and hard to find rule, this style is always in high demand (because of the performance, light weight and clip case), but hard to locate in good condition and an unmarked case.
Made by Hemmi in Japan, this is an early production set with date code HH, from August 1957.

K+E Ivorite Pocket Rule6"/5" Pocket Slide Rule
A commerce oriented simplex pocket rule with late unbrekable cursor, complete with dark green leather slip case. Everything in very good condition, and un-marked. Rule pictured IS the exact one offered. Rule for sale is s/n 092877. This series is the replacement for the earlier 4097 pocket series, which was a very fragile Xylonite design, these are quite rugged, and much nicer in appearance.

Classic 1920's Rule from K+E
5" Mannheim Pocket Slide Rule
A classic turn-of-the-century design mahogany and celluloid rule from K+E, still with the K+E trademarked cursor (in excellent condition), and case (in tattered, falling apart condition). June 5, 1900 Patent date on the rule, frameless Original 1915 patent) cursor, and serial number 92226, place the rule manufacture in the early 1920's, a wonderful find.
K+E's smallest wood body creation, it has a sloped top edge 5 inch ruler, and square bottom edge 12cm ruler, with SLT scales on the slide reverse, and a table of factors on the body back. Body is adjustable at the back for correct action. Still aligns, looks and works great, how many computers made 80 years ago could ever say that? Pictures ARE the exact set for sale.

6"/5" Mannheim Pocket Slide Rule
complete with brown leather slip case, all in very good condition. A classic pocket rule from approximately 70+ years ago, appears to be pearwood with laminated and engraved celluloid scales. The back has reference data, and the slide reverse has trig scales. The cursor is a metal framed celluloid window. Both edges have cm scale rulers, one aligned at the end of the rule, and one offset. Still works perfectly, see if your computer can still do that in 2080 or thereabouts.
