Yes, there is some interesting slide rule software that allows you to demonstrate and experiment with slide rule operation.

Relax, you don't have to load any to actually RUN your slide rule, these are training and experimentation aids. Both shareware and freeware licensed programs are offered here. Let us know if you come across any other good programs we have missed.

All of these are Windows applications, and have been tested to work under Win95 (Win 3.1/16 bit apps).

SLIDE RULE 640 By: SLG Data Systems	A 640 pixel wide Slide Rule program that mimics a basic 6-scale Mannheim rule. Teaches basic movements and settings, and looks quite realistic. Simply grab the slide or cursor with the mouse to manipulate the rule. Has a $5 SHAREWARE fee after reasonable trial use. Registration will provide higher resolution rules and features. SLIDE V1.0 By: Steven Burton Tree House	A large Slide Rule program that mimics complex duplex rules. Teaches basic movements and settings, and looks fairly realistic. Simply grab the slide or cursor with the mouse to manipulate the rule. Slide also has the ability to change scales, flip to the other side, and to view an enlarged window for better settability.
