12″/10″ Full Size System Rietz Mannheim Slide Rule.
Nestler’s most famous Mannheim rule, the same kind used by Werner von Braun and Albert Einstein. This rule has a mahogany core, with white celluloid faces, black, and red filled and engraved scales. Has the Rietz over-range scale extensions. This is a later production rule (R/3 revision), and in excellent condition over-all. Scales are unmarked. Glass 3 line cursor.
This simplex rule has cm side rulers 1:1 and 1:25, (great to leave parked on your desk!), all standard front/rear scales, inner body ruler extension, and conversion tables on the rear. Enjoyable to use, and very lovely to look at. One of the most classic and attractive German designs.

An excellent full sized Trig rule, great for high school students. All scales are self documenting on the right hand side. Nestler’s late production style duplex rule. BRAND NEW rule, with 2 part plastic case. Has normal and folded basic scales (at 3), expanded trig scales, and a 6 line cursor. Has green body supports, and a pale green stripe on the entire slide (both sides), and black and red filled/ engraved scales.

This is a very unusual vintage wood rule from Nestler, which features a metric ruler along the upper edge of the rule, and two supplementary scales along the lower vertical edge, read out using a small lens fixed to the lower edge of the main cursor.

Front – Unsure on exact nomenclature of certain scales, but there are 9 scales including the two on lower edge of the ruler, and the following on the reverse side of the slide: S, S&T, T
