81uH / 324uH Dual PC Mounting Inductor 9140-1625
Potcore style inductor made by MCE for hp (hp p/n 9140-1625), can be used as a common mode DC filter choke (Ok to 1.5ADC), as a single 81uH or single 324uH (windings in series) inductor or as a single 81uH inductor in a switching regulator with the 2nd isolated winding for an additional output in any polarity. Very low DCR. A very useful part, and we have a large quantity available. 3B7 ferrite, the construction is good to at least 1Mhz for switching power supplies. Very high quality parts, MCE makes outstanding magnetics. Each side of the inductor is one winding (fully isolated), the phasing is reversed from side to side between the windings, jumper straight up and down at the left for series windings, connect to the right side pins for the 324uH winding. It looks like the side spring clips can be removed, the pot core opened, and windings easily altered for making your own custom inductor, there is even a spare pin on the PC header for an additional connection like a tapped winding.
